Leg Pain - is a common symptom and complaint. It can be due to a muscle cramp (also known as a charley horse) or an injury, blood clot (deep vein thrombosis), atherosclerosis, inflammation of the leg joints by arthritis, nerve damage, or infection of the bone. Possible treatment - Sympathetic Nerve Block.
Lower-Back Pain. Found in almost a third of all patients, lower-back pain may result from muscle, joint, or nerve root compression. Pain may localize in the lower back or radiate to the buttock, down the back of the leg to the knee, or even into the ankle and foot. Other conditions associated with lower-back pain are: lumbosacral radiculopathy, spinal stenosis, osteoarthritis, and herniated (slipped) discs. Treatment depends on current condition, any steroid injectoin could be applied.
