Weakened part of the vertebra is filled with bone cement which stabilizes the fracture. Then the tube is removed. Sometimes it is needed to inject cement on both sides of the vertebra. At the end of Vertebroplasty an external corset is placed as a mean of vertebra body stabilization, which provides fast mobility and eliminates pain.
